A day in Hong Kong ...

I tell you: Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, that you may be sons of your Father in heaven - Matthew 5:44-45

Jet lag ... what jet lag. It is 10:45 PM Saturday evening, and Sheehan just woke up from a five hour nap, while Katherine is just starting to saw logs.

We had an enjoyable day, despite the rain doing some sightseeing today. We rode a "junk" boat across the Hong Kong harbor to Hong Kong island where we found some comfort food for Sheehan (McDonald's) while walking around. We had some nice talks with one of the locals and a nice, chatty lady from Austrailia. People in Hong Kong seem to be rather courteous and friendly compared to some other large cities we have been to.

When we arrived back in Kowloon, we took Sheehan to a playground ... about 15 minutes after he passed out. Below is an amusing short video of our attempt to rouse him.

After Katherine and I finished off a short nap, we headed out to the Promenade to see the light show ... a light and laser show coming from the buildings across the harbor on Hong Kong island.

Tomorrow we take off around noon China time ... Happy Father's Day to all you Dad's out there!
